To make such a complex and difficult topic seem approachable, the timeline and design system utilizes simple illustrations of key points in the history of the subject. By doing so, the topic of genetic engineering can be better understood by any type of visitor, along with maintaining visual interest throughout the length of the narrative.

The timeline is spread across four walls, creating a dynamic viewing experience where visitors literally move through the history of genetic engineering a they immerse in its history. Each wall also acts as different chapters within the story, making the experience digestable and easier to skim through.
