A poster using typography in a more linear format, where the type and title forwardly represents the subject of the design. In creating this, I made the word “Jazz” by collaging various materials to create an expressive illustration of common Jazz instruments. Additionally, the copy elements were photocopied and pasted in to maintain the style.

A poster using type that biomorphically represents some aspect or emotion related to the subject. With this poster, the type conveys the emotions and colors conveyed by each artist performing at the concert.
